WMS Research Grants 2026 is calling for applications from WMS members, young investigators, medical students, residents and fellows for its yearly grant scheme. The program is divided into four parts, allowing applicants to apply for those that fit their criteria.
The Wilderness Medical Society is a nonprofit organisation that seeks to equip its members worldwide with the right tools and settings to advance medicine.
They aim to treat their patients no matter the setting or place with the right equipment. With over 4,100 members, WMS currently operates in about 50 countries and continues to advance medical care, even in the wilderness.
Up to $10,000 is available for this year’s grant program, sponsored by the Wilderness Medical Society, to advance medical research. Applications will close on October 15, 2026.
