The CTCI Foundation Overseas Student Employment Taiwan 2026 Grant is launching this year to support international students who wish to remain in Taiwan for employment. The grant will support master’s and doctoral students in securing employment and transitioning smoothly into their careers after completing their studies. Aside from guiding students in securing employment, there is also financial support towards their living expenses as they begin their careers.

To be eligible for the grant, applicants must be master’s or doctoral graduates from specific universities and departments in Taiwan. Up to 133 departments, including engineering, will be considered for the grant. Also, only students from 8 universities will be eligible to apply.

These universities include:

  1. National Taiwan University
  2. National Tsing Hua University
  3. National Cheng Kung University
  4. National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University
  5. National Taiwan Normal University
  6. National Central University
  7. National Taiwan University of Science and Technology
  8. National Taipei University of Technology

Funding Benefits

The grant covers living expenses and support for facilitating employment for master’s and doctoral graduates in Taiwan. Each candidate will receive NT$100,000, and up to 10 candidates will receive the grant.

Who Can Apply?

  • Master’s and doctoral graduates from the 8 universities listed above in Taiwan.
  • Applicants must have an academic score of 80 and above for each semester.
  • Candidates seeking employment in scientific research or technology-related work.

How to Apply for the CTCI Foundation Overseas Student Employment Taiwan 2026 Grant

  1. Applicants should visit the official grant portal to review the eligibility criteria before applying.
  2. Once completed, applicants should download the application form titled “CTCI Foundation Overseas
    Student Employment in Taiwan Grant – Department or Institute Nominated Applicant.”
  3. All documents should be in Word and PDF formats for submission. The documents will also need to be physically submitted as hard-copy documents to their department or university.
  4. After the documents are submitted to the institute or university, the institute or university will review them and nominate only one candidate to represent the school.
  5.
