JSSI Aviation Innovation Grant 2026 is open and calling for applications from eligible bachelor’s and master’s students who have an interest in aviation and show entrepreneurial spirit. The grant will offer up to $5,000 in funding to support successful applicants. Aside from the funding, applicants will also get mentorship guidance.
Jet Support Services, Inc. and the IADA Foundation sponsor the grant to support innovative individuals and young entrepreneurs who are creative and ready to turn aviation ideas into reality.
Applicants need to have an average GPA of 3.3 or above before applying. Successful applicants will receive their award in September; however, the award in itself will be presented on October 19, 2026, at the IADA Fall Meeting.
To apply, applicants must submit a 500-word essay explaining the project concept and how the funds will be used if the project is successful. Applicants will also submit a Lean Canvas that includes a problem statement outlining the overall idea and concept of the case study.
Applications are currently open, and they will close on July 15, 2026.
